Chica and Cupcake (2024 - 2026)

This build was based on the character Chica from Five Nights at Freddy's. More specifically, this version was inspired by the game and movie design of the character.

The goal was to build a fully wearable suit with moving parts, such as the eyes, eyebrows, and moving jaw, for both Chica and the Cupcake.
This was a 2-year project that continues to be upgraded as my skill level advances.
1 year was spent making Chica, the main suit, and one year was spent making the cupcake puppet.
Chica was a wearable suit that was fabricated from scratch using a mix of EVA and upholstery foam. Chica's body and head patterns were made from scratch using reference images from the game and film.
Parts such as the eyes were 3D printed, while the bib design was printed using a DFT printer.
This suit was made with comfort in mind and is lightweight and flexible for mobility. The heaviest part of the suit is the head due to the eye mechanism.
